“I graduated from the BA (Hons) Acting programme at Italia Conti in July 2012 and since then I’ve been auditioning and working really hard to get that first job.
At the end of November I found out I had got the part of Orlaith in ‘Desolate Heaven’ written by award winning composer Ailis Ni Riain. The play was put on by Theatre503 and was the first production of the new season. It was also Paul Robinson’s first show as sole director of Thetare503. The play was made up of a cast of three and I was on stage for an hour and half with constant dialogue and a huge emotional journey to achieve every night for four weeks. I couldn’t have asked for a better first job and it was a great spring board into what I’ve managed to achieve next, due to some very flattering reviews and directors coming to watch it.
As a result of ‘Desolate Heaven’, come April I will be starting rehearsals for ‘Cuddles’ written by Joe Wilde at the Ovalhouse theatre, directed by Rebecca Atkinson-Lord. This play is made up of a cast of two women, so again I feel really lucky to be doing another production with so much time on stage.
And I am also very pleased to say that in July I will be part of Richard Eyre’s production of ,’Liola’ at the National Theatre. I couldn’t be more excited about the upcoming months and representing Italia Conti as I go on.”
‘Cuddles’ by Joe Wilde, Directed by Rebecca Atkinson-Lord opens at the Ovalhouse on the 14th May 2013.
